August Lindgren (Copenhagen1 August 1883 – died 1 June 1945) was a Danish footballer, who played as a striker for Danish club Boldklubben 1893. He died at the age of 61.

Lindgren played four times for the Danish national team, with whom he participated in the 1908 Olympic Games in London. There won the selection under the direction of the English national team coach Charles Williams the silver medal. In the final, played on 24 October 1908 in the White City Stadium, turned out to be host countryEngland 2-0 too strong.
