August Schotte (The Hague20 June 1883 – Brussels4 March 1968) was a Dutch race Walker. He competed at the Olympic Games.


August represented Netherlands at the 3000 m walk Saavedra on the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. Here he was in the second series as seventh eliminated for final.

Saavedra became Dutch champion many times on no longer usual spare parts at the 1908 summer Olympics. He won his first title in 1918 on the 25 km he was Dutch champion on the 1500. in addition m, 3500 m, 10 km and 25 km on the three times he established various national recordson such numbers, as at the 1000 m, 2000 m, the 3500 m, the 5,000 m and the 10 Eng. miles. All the listed records he realized in the period from July to October 1921.
