Basile Boli (Abidjan, January 2, 1967) is a Côte d'Ivoire -born former French footballer who played as a sweeper. He won with Olympique Marseille in 1993 the UEFA Champions League by itself the only goal in the final against AC Milan. From 1986 to 1993 he came 45 times for the France national football team.
Boli was taken by Marseille at AJ Auxerre. He also later played for Glasgow Rangers, AS Monaco and Urawa Red Diamonds. Boli is the younger brother of former playerRoger Boli and the uncle of the gedebuteerde at Paris Saint Germain in 2007 Yannick Boli.
