Bujar Nishani ( [bujaɾ niʃani] ? ) ( Durres , September 29 1966 ) is an Albanian politician and, since July 24, 2012, the president of his country. He followed in that function Bamir Topi on. Nishani is a member of the center-right PD and was previously Minister of the Interior (2007-2009 and 2011-2012) [1] and Justice (2009-2011).
Nishani is married to Odeta Nishani and has two children, Ersi and Fiona.
