Dean Saunders ( London , January 9 1981 ) is a Dutch singer . He won in 2011 the Dutch version of the talent show Popstars .

In the late nineties did Saunders and his brother Ben participated in various talent competitions under the name Daddy's Wish. On November 25, 1998, they were, as such, subject to a report of a youth program Life is like a box of chocolates from KRO. Saunders and his brother were at that time, respectively 15 and 17 years old. Two years later, the brothers took part in the RTL 4 program All of the band: Follow that dream. This rock band Follow That Dream was formed, where they both were out of proportion. In November 2000, the group took the 13th place in the Top 100 charts with the song Follow that dream. National Contest 2003 [ edit ][]
On February 15, 2003 Saunders took his brother participated in the National Contest. They performed in the third heat under the name "Brothers" with the song Stand As One. It did not deliver the brothers desired breakthrough, because with only 10 points from the jury she finished seventh out of eight participants. The televoters got the duo 3% of the vote: the least of that night. The main criticism of the jury was that the robust clothes of the boys did not suit the sensitive song. Although the overall judgment of the jury was negative, noted juror Stanley Burleson , however, that they could sing well.

On January 21, 2011 he won the talent show Popstars on SBS6 with You and I both . A week later made GfK Dutch Charts known that the number was 1 in the Single Top 100 .

Dean is the eldest son of Dean and Lesley Saunders. He has two younger brothers: Ben Saunders , winner of The Voice of Holland , and Jamie Saunders. Saunders is officially an Englishman, but moved at a young age to Netherlands . He has a son with his girlfriend Jamie Faber.
