Denis Patrick Seamus O'Hare (Kansas CityJanuary 17, 1962) is an American actor of Irish descent. He owns both nationalities. For playing Mason Marzac in the playTake Me Out , he won the 2003 Tony Award for best actor. In 2009, he along with the other actors of the Milk film nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.

O'Hare brought a considerable part of his acting career on the boards and made his debut in 1995 on Broadway in the play Racing Demon. He played in performances ofAssassins (2004), Sweet Charity (2006), Inherit the WindA Spanish Play (both 2007) and Uncle Vanya (2008). In 1993, he was for the first time for the camera with a single guest role as Keating in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. It took four years for a follow-up to here he gave with his first film role in St. Patrick's Day, in addition to other Piper Laurie. To see more than twenty times since then was O'Hare on the big screen.
