Jaroslav Plašil ( pronunciation ( info / explanation ) ) ( Opočno , January 5 1982 ) is a Czech footballer. He's since the 2009/10 season under contract with Girondins de Bordeaux .[1]

Plašil is a right footed attacking midfielder whose talent in 2000 was discovered by the French AS Monaco . For the Monegasque he made his debut in the first team on December 22, 2001 in the match against Stade Rennais . In the first two seasons in Monaco Plašil but had eight games in the first team.
