Joël Veltman (Velsen15 January 1992) is a Dutch footballer who plays for AFC Ajax.

Veltman began his football career in the E-youth as a striker for VV IJmuiden. [1In 2001 he moved to AFC Ajax. Here he traversed the Youth Academy and he was Defender. He stood In the B2 on the nomination to be sent away. In the A-youth, he was long on the side with a cruciate ligament injury. Veltman made his debut for Ajax on 19 August, in an away match against n.e.c. (1-6 profit). On 6 June 2013, it was announced that his contract has been extended until 2017 Veltman.

On 5 August 2013 Veltman played along with Young Ajax (2-0 win) in the Jupiler League game against Telstar. In the 89th minute, he was changed due to an injury which he said it would be 2 months off. On 30 september 2013 made his comeback at Jong Ajax Veltman in the Jupiler League game at home against FC Volendam, Veltman scored in this match his first official goal in the Dutch Eredivisie and for Jong Ajax.

On 22 October 2013 made his European debut for Veltman Ajax in the UEFA Champions League match at Celtic Park against Celtic FC which was lost 2-1. On 6 november 2013 Veltman was again in the base in the return against Celtic FC. This match was won 1-0 and for the share he had received much praise in what Veltman."Veltman has played the best match of his life I think" and "he was no Veltman, but General" said about the 21-year-old Defender [2.

On 10 February 2009, his debut for Netherlands Veltman O-17 in a match on La Manga ' 09 tournament against Czech Republic O-17.

Veltman played in the competition in the group stage of the European Championships 2009 in Germany on May 6, 2009 against England O-17[4]

Netherlands O-19[Edit][]

On september 2, 2010 made his debut for Netherlands Veltman O-19 in a friendly match against Germany O-19.

On 9 February 2011 scored his first international goal against Veltman France O-19.

Dutch players[Edit][]

On May 23, 2012 made his debut for the Dutch players Veltman in a contest at the Festival des Espoirs ' 12 against Egypt Olympic team.

Dutch Juniors[Edit][]

On 30 October 2013, it was announced that head coach Albert Stuivenberg Veltman has called for the 29-man preselection of Young Orange, this is the first time that Veltman is part of a (pre) selection of the Dutch national junior-team. Veltman belonged, by his call for the Dutch national football team, not to the final selection of the national junior team.

Netherlands[Edit][]

National coach Louis van Gaal made on 8 november 2013 known that Veltman was part of the selection of the Dutch team for friendly matches against Japan and Colombia on 16 and 19 november 2013. This is for the first time he has been called for Veltman's Netherlands. On 19 november 2013 made his debut for the Dutch team Veltman in the friendly match that ended in 0-0 against Colombia, he started in the base and he played the entire match.
