Joachim Christopher Johansson ( Lund , July 1 1982 ) is a former Swedish tennis player , who in 2000 joined the ranks of professionals.

Joachim is the son of Leif Johansson , former Davis Cup captain of Sweden, but not related to fellow professionals and compatriot Thomas Johansson .

Johansson main weapons are his service and his forhand. Pim Pim , as his nickname goes, is a former number two in singles at the juniors.

In February 2004, Johansson won his first ATP title by writing the tournament. Memphis to its name He also reached the semifinals at the U.S. Open , the fourth Grand Slam tournament of the season. He lost it by Lleyton Hewitt in three sets: 6-4, 7-5 and 6-3. Since 2005 , his girlfriend Jenny Kallur . In 2005 he also triumphed in Adelaide and Marseille .

On February 1, 2008 Johansson quit professional tennis because of a shoulder injury. He now travels as a caddy along with his Swedish girlfriend Johanna Westerberg , golf professional on the Ladies European Tour , and their son Leo, who was born in early 2010.
