Pieter Jan Leeuwerink (Wormer, 1962 – February 10, Capelle aan den IJssel, 27 september 2004) was a Dutch volleyball player. He was the silver carrier FederalDutch volleyball pin.
Between 1985 and 1989 came Laing 187 times for the national team. He took part in his first and only Olympic Games: Seoul 1988, where he finished fifth with the Dutch team. In the National League, he played for VC Wormer, Compaen and Brother/Martinus.
He made the initial phase of the vaunted Baba model, that culminated in a gold medal at the Olympic Games of Atlanta in 1996.
After his playing career was Laing eight seasons long working as trainer-coach at Alcom/Capelle, which he later exchanged for Rijnmond Volleyball.
He died at age 41 after a serious illness.
