Stef Vanhaeren (London15 January 1992) is a Belgian athlete, who specializes in the 400 metres hurdles and the sprint. He was Belgian Junior Champion at the 400 mand 400 m hurdles and represented his country in the 400 metres hurdles at major international athletics competitions.

In 2009, Vp on the Tampere EYOF in a gold medal in the 400 m hurdles and a bronze in the 4 x 100 metres relay. A year later he was sixth in the 400 metres hurdles at the World Championships for juniors in the Canadian city of Moncton and reached on this part to the semifinal at the European Championships in Barcelona.

His first success with the seniors, Vp in 2011 by a fourth place in the 400 m at the Belgian indoor championships. On June 9, 2011 at the age of nineteen he improved his personal best in the 400 m to 46.91. He was the fifth Belgian junior ever to this distance within the 47 seconds completed. After he reported: "That is an achievement that I am very satisfied and that gives me the confidence for the important period that there is." [1]

Stef Vanhaeren is affiliated with Athletics club Kapellen (CALHOUN) and lives in Chapels.
